Just a quick update on the CD...
LIVE ALBUM - It has been mixed and I'm REALLY happy with the sound. It will be a 10/11 song album with all but 2 of the songs never having been recorded before. The album needs to be edited and the artwork, etc, hasn't begun, so it will likely end up being a April/May release, but it is on the way. The album was recorded and mixed by Doug McClement of LiveWire Remote.
Just for the record, LiveWire's clients include:
Rolling Stones, Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan, 50 Cent, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elvis Costello, Joni Mitchell, Ray Charles, Smashing Pumpkins, Robbie Williams, David Bowie, Garth Brooks, Live, Bon Jovi, Spinal Tap, Crowded House, Tony Bennett, and many many more...
If you have any suggestions for the title, msg me - I don't want to include "live" in the title, so I'd love any other suggestions. If your title gets chosen, your prize will be a mention in the credits...
Peace...

Hey all...
Just wanted to drop a quick line to thank everyone who came out to the Living
Arts Centre show in support of Perry Monaco and the Canadian Diabetes
Association.
The final numbers saw over 220 people show up, over $2000 raised for the CDA,
and saw Perry present the CDA with a cheque for $130,000 for his years of
fundraising (www.perrymonaco.com).
Again, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came, to my guest performers (Melissa
Larkin, Gregg Lawless, Don Lawless, and Grady Kelnick), and most importantly to
Perry Monaco for having me be a part of such an incredible night.
All the best and hope life is treating you as well as you deserve...

NEXT CD PROJECT
While it is not confirmed yet, Mike is hoping that his next CD release will be a live one. The intention is to have this out some time early-mid 2006. This is reliant on Mike not screwing up completely at his next live show. For those who have only seen Mike perform solo, this Live CD will be reflective of the solo shows you have seen, though it will feature mainly original music. For those who know Mike's music well, it will also feature several brand new songs written over the past 12 months so it will be a little bit of something for everyone.
